NASHVILLE – Tennessee State volleyball battled throughout but came up short against a strong Austin Peay offense Tuesday night, falling in three sets (18-25, 18-25, 11-25) at Kean Hall.
Despite the setback, the Tigers were paced by a balanced effort. Carsyn Stansberry led the attack with five kills and posted a .444 hitting percentage, while Italya Carter anchored the defense with a team-high nine digs and added two service aces. Sagaia Reilly directed the offense with 15 assists.
