NASHVILLE – Tennessee State volleyball will close out September at home as the Tigers host Ohio Valley Conference rival Morehead State on Tuesday, Sept. 30, at 6 p.m. inside Kean Hall.
The Tigers (1-13, 0-2 OVC) continue their conference slate looking to build momentum after strong individual performances this past weekend. Junior outside hitter Aliyah Harris led the way with 13 kills on a .600 hitting percentage against SIUE on Friday. Freshman setter Sagaia Reilly added 24 assists and four kills while hitting .800 in Saturday's match. Libero Eirini Bitsaktsi anchored the defense with 24 digs across the two contests.
While Morehead State holds the upper hand in the all-time series (30-6), Tennessee State has continued to show growth in recent meetings and aims to make a statement on its home floor.
