Opening Drive

Tennessee State returns to OVC action Saturday at Nissan Stadium after knocking off No. 24 Morgan State 25-16 on Homecoming. The victory was TSU's second of the season, extended the program's Homecoming winning streak to eight games and gave head coach Reggie Barlow his 100th regular-season head-coaching victory across the college and professional levels. The Tigers scored on their opening possession, answered both Morgan State leads and closed the game with 10 unanswered points while holding the Bears scoreless during the fourth quarter.

Saturday begins a five-game conference stretch to close the regular season. TSU will pursue its first conference victory and its first back-to-back wins of 2026 against Charleston Southern, which enters after concluding its nonconference schedule at Clemson. The matchup also closes Tennessee State's three-game homestand at Nissan Stadium.
