Men's basketball Visits Southern Indiana Ahead of OVC Tournament Thursday

OPENING TIP: The final six remaining OVC regular-season games begin this week as the Tennessee State men's basketball team will play four of its last six contests away from the Gentry Center. Five of the six games will feature teams currently sitting in the top five spots of the upcoming OVC Tournament. With the series sweep over Western Illinois, TSU won both meetings by an average of 24.5 points. Southern Indiana enters on a four-game losing streak after dropping Saturday's game to SEMO. During the four-game skid, USI has lost by an average of 18 points per game.

SERIES INFORMATION VS. SOUTHERN INDIANA: The all-time series is tied 6-6. TSU won the opener 73-67 at the Gentry Center on Jan. 17. Aaron Nkrumah finished with 24 points and 11 rebounds. Antoine Lorick III added 17 points, six rebounds and five assists. Travis Harper II added 11 points and three rebounds.
