NASHVILLE — Tennessee State University Athletics and Cromwell Media have announced a new radio broadcast agreement for the 2026 football season, returning TSU Football to its former radio home, 102.1 FM The Ville.

TSU Football can be heard throughout the season on 102.1 FM The Ville, with select games receiving expanded coverage on 102.5 FM The Game, Cromwell Media's ESPN affiliate station. The John A. Merritt Classic will be among the games simulcast on both stations.

Each broadcast will begin with a 30-minute pregame show featuring the Reggie Barlow Report, sponsored by the Tennessee Education Lottery, along with keys to the game and analysis leading up to kickoff.

"We are excited to renew our relationship with Cromwell Media and return TSU Football to a familiar home," said TSU Assistant Athletic Director for Communications and Broadcasting Nick Guerriero. "I thank Chase McCabe, Jeff Kolb, GM Shawn Fort and Cromwell Media owner Bud Walters, for their leadership and commitment. I also thank Greg Pogue for his dedication to TSU Athletics. Our partnerships with Cromwell Media and SiriusXM expand TSU's global reach across terrestrial and satellite radio while strengthening our position as a leader in the HBCU sports media landscape."

All TSU Football broadcasts will stream live at 1021TheVille.com and will also be available globally on SiriusXM, giving Tiger fans multiple ways to follow the team throughout the season.

"TSU has a legendary program, and we all felt it was important to bring them back to the Cromwell family." Said Cromwell Nashville Director of Operations and Sports Programming, Chase McCabe. "Our audience on 102.1 The Ville continues to grow and adding TSU is a huge win for us and our listeners."

"The Voice of the Tigers," Greg Pogue, returns for his 15th season as TSU's radio play-by-play announcer. Pogue will be joined by a rotating group of guest commentators for home games, beginning Saturday with former TSU football head coach Rod Reed. TSU Assistant Athletic Director of Communications and Broadcasting Nick Guerriero will provide analysis for road broadcasts.

The agreement brings TSU Football back to a familiar Nashville radio platform while expanding the program's reach through Cromwell Media's network, online streaming and SiriusXM.
