Biography

2022: Rouse made huge leaps on the field during his sophomore season as he took over the starting running back role...playing in all 11 games, he rushed for 613 yards on 129 carries along with two scores....the versatile back hauled in 12 passes for 158 yards and a touchdown...went over the 100+ rushing yard mark twice....finished with 109 yards and a score on 25 carries against Lane College (10/1)...rushed for 126 yards on 20 attempts against Tennessee Tech (10/15)...had 106 all-purpose yards against Murray State (84 rushing, 22 receiving) (10/29)..... his one receiving touchdown came on a 34-yard grab at Middle Tennessee (9/17)....averaged 4.8 yards per carry. 

FALL 2021: Played in all 11 games…racked up 146 rushing yards on 43 attempts and one touchdown…caught seven passes for 118 yards…totaled 59 kick return yards on four returns…finished with 99 all-purpose yards (60 rushing, 39 receiving) and a rushing touchdown against Kentucky State (9/18)…had 92 all-purpose yards (52 rushing, 40 receiving) against Austin Peay (11/13).

SPRING 2021: Played in all seven games…finished the season with 21 rushing yards on 12 attempts…caught one pas for six yards…racked up 111 kick return yards on six returns….finished with 85 kick return yards, including a season long return of 40 yards at Tennessee Tech (4/3).

PERSONAL: Son of Sedrick and Charisse Rouse…has one sister Sannah.....Born June 22.

HIGH SCHOOL: As a senior, rushed for 1,754 yards on 248 carries with 24 touchdowns… Registered 10 games of rushing for 100-plus yards on his way to averaging 134.9 yards per game… Ran for 642 yards as a junior.
