2021 (HOUSTON): Appeared in 13 games as a defensive back ... recorded a season-high three tackles against Grambling State (Sept. 18) ... grabbed his first interception of the season against South Florida (Nov. 6) ... the following week he grabbed another interception with a return of 44 yards (Nov. 13).
2020 (HOUSTON): Appeared in four of the final five games of the season … registered eight tackles including six solo stops … posted a season-high six tackles in Houston’s 56-21 win against USF (Nov. 14) … logged at least one tackle in three consecutive games from Oct. 31-Nov. 14.
2019 (HOUSTON): Appeared in four games, before taking a redshirt due to injury ... also made two starts at safety ... recorded 23 tackles and one interception ... finished with four tackles at No. 4/4 Oklahoma (Sept. 1)... recorded five tackles in win vs. Prairie View A&M (Sept. 7)... led team with nine tackles and one interception vs. Washington State in the AdvoCare Texas Kickoff (Sept. 13)... had five tackles at Tulane (Sept. 19).
2018 (HOUSTON): Took over starting safety role in week four after Garrett Davis’ season-ending injury ... finished the year fifth in The American with three interceptions ... had two defensive touchdowns on the year, one interception return and one fumble return ... finished season third on Houston team with 81 tackles ... made Houston debut with two tackles in win at Rice ... had six tackles in win against Arizona ... had eight tackles at Texas Tech ... had six tackles and one pass breakup in win against Texas Southern ... had three tackles and three pass breakups in win against Tulsa ... had four tackles in win at ECU ... had three tackles in win at Navy ... had eight tackles and two pass breakups in win over No. 21/20 USF ... had nine tackles and a 24-yard fumble return for a touchdown at SMU ... had eight tackles, including 1.5 for loss, against Temple ... had seven tackles and one interception in win over Tulane ... had nine tackles and two interceptions, including a 63-yard pick six, at Memphis ... had eight tackles vs. Army in the Armed Forces Bowl.
2017 (MESSA CC): Had 75 tackles in lone season at Mesa CC while breaking up six passes, picking off two passes and recovering two fumbles … also had two defensive touchdowns, one off an interception return and one off a fumble return ... coached by Ryan Felker at Mesa CC.
HIGH SCHOOL: Prior to Mesa, played prep ball at Centennial High School … had 12 receptions for 197 yards and two touchdowns along with 35 tackles, 13 pass breakups and one interception as a senior … as a junior, had 18 receptions for 297 yards and one touchdown while totaling 70 tackles, six interception, five pass breakups, three fumble recoveries and one forced fumble.
