Julius C. Hunter joined the Tennessee State football coaching staff in the summer of 2013. He will handle all filming duties related to practice and games as the program’s video coordinator.

Hunter is a native of Easley, S.C. and a 2002 graduate of Wren High School. He went on to receive his Bachelor's in Health Exercise and Sports Science from The Citadel Military College of South Carolina in 2006 where he also lettered as a Wide Receiver in Football and a Sprinter and Long Jumper in Track and Field.

After a professional football career with various Arena teams, Coach Hunter served as Assistant Coach for The PorterGaud School in Charleston, SC.

Coach Hunter has since received his Master's in Health and Physical Education from Columbus State University. He comes to Nashville with his wife and one year old son, Micah Clem Hunter.
