Ryan Conway joins the Tigers as a Defensive Coaching Assistant working with the Linebackers, in his first year with the team. Conway brings a diverse background in coaching, personnel, and analytics, to Tennessee State. Most recently, he spent three years with the Cleveland Browns as an Offensive/Scouting Assistant, working in the Pro Scouting department’s advance scouting process while also working with Offensive Coordinator Tommy Rees, Wide Receivers Coach Chad O’Shea, and Running Backs Coach Duce Staley throughout the past several years .

Before his time with the Browns, Ryan served as an Offensive Analyst at the University of Pittsburgh, as a part of the team’s 2021 ACC Championship season. He also worked as a Data Analyst for an economic litigation consulting firm in Washington, D.C.

A Northern Virginia native, Ryan graduated with honors from the University of Virginia with a bachelor’s degree in Economics. He and his wife, Cristina, are proud to call Nashville their new home.
