2021 (YOUNGSTOWN STATE): Named the MVFC Freshman of the Year…named to the MVFC’s All-Newcomer Team…started nine games for the Penguins…did not play against South Dakota State…was the fourth Penguin to be named the Freshman of the Year and first since 2013…completed 97-of-156 passes for 791 yards for six touchdowns while rushing for 599 yards on 132 carries and scored seven times…in MVFC games, completed 78-of-121 (64.5 percent) passes for 598 yards and five TDs and rushed for 449 yards on 94 attempts and had four scores…in starting debut, helped YSU rally for an overtime win against UIW…completed 9-of-12 passes for 112 yards with a TD and rushed for 81 yards on 20 carries and had two touchdowns…at Michigan State, had 18 carries for 69 yards and a touchdown…against Western Illinois rushed for 134 yards on 20 carries and had two touchdowns…at UNI threw for a season-best 198 yards completing 25-of-37 passes and had a touchdown…in win over Missouri State rushed for 195 yards on 22 carries and scored on a 73-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter…the 195 yards were the most in a game by a quarterback in school history…completed 10-of-19 passes for 99 yards and two touchdowns…at North Dakota, had 60 yards on 18 carries and a touchdown…at Southern Illinois completed 11-of-15 passes for 91 yards and two touchdowns at Southern Illinois…rushed 12 times for 30 yards against the Salukis…had 18-or-more rushing attempts in five games…was one of 23 finalists for the Jerry Rice Award which honors the nation's top FCS freshman.

2021 Spring (YOUNGSTOWN STATE): Played in spring finale at Missouri State.

PERSONAL: Is the 2022-23 recipient of the Alumni Football Players Scholarship endowment.

HIGH SCHOOL: Three-star quarterback by 247sports.com and rivals.com...first-team Division I All-Ohio selection as a senior...named the Columbus Dispatch's All-Metro Player of the Year...first-team All-Central District Division I...OCC Offensive Player of the year...completed 124-of-167 passes (74.3 percent) for 1,693 yards with 14 touchdowns and rushed for 1,267 yards and 17 TDs...accounted for 7,472 yards and 91 touchdowns in 44 career starts en route to leading the Tigers to a 39-5 record in those games...Pickerington Central took down Elder 21-14 to win the 2019 Division I State Championship Game...in the contest, completed 14-of-16 passes for 197 yards and two TDs and also ran for 62 yards on 19 carries...Central was ranked 20th in the final USA Today High School rankings with a 14-1 record...was a two-time Division I state champion...in 2017, scored a record-breaking six rushing touchdowns in title game win...went 11-3 and made it to the Division I state semifinals in 2018...coach was Jay Sharrett.
