2022: Did not see any action for the Tigers. 

FALL 2021: Played in all 11 games and made 10 starts … finished fifth on the team with 40 tackles … had two tackles of losses (5.0 yards) … had three pass breakups and three pass deflections … had at least one tackle in every game except the Grambling game (9/5) … had six tackles on two occasions — SEMO (9/25) and Murray State (10/30).

SPRING 2021: Played in six games and made four starts during the spring season …  had 15 tackles, nine solo, 2.5 tackles for loss (16 yards), four pass deflections, three pass breakups, and one interception … secured an interception against UT Martin (3/28) and gained six yards … collected three tackles against Eastern Illinois (3/14 ) … had a season-best six tackles vs. UT Martin (3/28). 

2019: Played in 11 games, mainly on special teams, before starting the final five games as a nickel corner… finished with 22 tackles, 13 solo, and two pass breakups… returned two kickoffs totaling 24 yards… registered his first career tackle against Mississippi Valley State (8/31)… recorded a season-high six stops and three solos against Austin Peay (10/19)… broke up two passes and made one stop against Murray State (10/12)… collected five tackles at UT Martin (11/16)… closed out the season with a three tackle performance at Tennessee Tech (11/23)… returned a kickoff for 22 yards and made two tackles against Southeast Missouri.

2018: Observed a redshirt season, playing in the allotted four games, mainly on special teams… returned one kickoff for 20 yards against Tennessee Tech (10/20).

PERSONAL: Son of Leon Garlington … has one brother, Weldon … His brother and father both played football at TSU. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Played all four years at Brentwood Academy … Helped Brentwood Academy to a perfect 14-0 record and a Tennessee Division II Class AAA State Title… Recorded an interception and forced two breakups in State Championship Game… Offers from Murray State, Southeast Missouri, and Virginia Military.
