Biography

As a Junior: Led the OVC, broke the single-season ERA record at TSU and was 21st in the country, with a 1.28 ERA...finished 16-9 in her first season with the Tigers...pitched 213.1 innings and set a new TSU single-season record with 261 strikeouts. Her five saves put her 10th on the national scene...was a second team OVC selection and named to the All-Newcomer Team...was a two time OVC athlete of the week, threw a no hitter against LaSalle University, and was recognized by Coach Maudie as a Co-MVP for the 2007 Tiger squad.

At Columbia State Community College: A Region VII All-Region Second Team and All-Tournament Team selection for coach Johnny Littrell...set season single season records with 24 wins, 211 strikeouts, and a 0.98 ERA...batted .417 as a sophomore.

At Riverdale HS: A four-year starter for coach Jeff Breeden...threw two perfect games as a senior and was named to the MTSCA All-Mid State and All-Star Teams...a multiple year Daily News Journal MVP and All-District 7AAA selection...honored as the Defensive Player of the Year as a freshman and Riverdale Pitcher of the Year as a sophomore and a junior.

Personal: Major is Physical Therapy...Daughter of Randy and Wilma Vaught...Born March 18, 1986, in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
