Ronnie Wilcox

Ronnie Wilcox is entering his first season in 2022-23 as the director of women's basketball operations at Tennessee State under head coach Ty Evans.

Wilcox is no stranger to the women's basketball sidelines after stints at Georgia State and Kennesaw State.

In his most recent women's basketball role, Wilcox was the basketball operations intern at Georgia State under head coach Gene Hill. His duties were to assist with administrative needs such as scheduling, filing, distributing supplies/tickets, and helping with daily operations. Wilcox also supported the coaching staff with analytics, training, coaching, video, player development, and recruiting.

The Georgia native cut his teeth at Kennesaw State as a student assistant and also as an athletics video intern helping with the Owls' ESPN+ broadcasts. With the women's basketball program, Wilcox was responsible for game planning and player development along with equipment maintenance. On the recruiting side, Wilcox assisted the staff with scheduling campus visits and team promotions.

Away from basketball, Wilcox served as the Gwinnett County Government as a program leader where he maintained records and other documentation regarding daily program activities and operations such as class registrations, attendance records, deposits and financial reports, and facility usage.

Wilcox received his undergraduate degree in Sports Management from Kennesaw State and then obtained a Master's in Sports Administration from Georgia State.
