Biography

As a junior (2026): FIRST TEAM ALL-OVC | OVC BATTING AVERAGE LEADER
Earned First Team All-Ohio Valley Conference honors after one of the most productive seasons in program history… Started all 41 games at shortstop… Led the OVC with a .415 batting average while posting a .469 on-base percentage, .631 slugging percentage, and 1.100 OPS… Finished with 54 hits, 28 runs scored, 21 RBI, seven doubles, six triples, three home runs, and six stolen bases… Recorded 17 multi-hit games… Went 4-for-5 with three RBI against Butler (2/13)… Delivered a three-run, three-RBI performance against Western Illinois (4/20)… Reached the 50-hit mark and consistently ranked among the conference leaders in multiple offensive categories… Defensively anchored the Tigers at shortstop with 58 putouts, 86 assists, and nine double plays.

As a sophomore (2025):
Played and started in all 45 games… Hit .355 with 48 hits, 12 extra-base hits, 30 RBI, and eight stolen bases… Recorded her first hit as a Tiger in a win over North Texas (2/7)… Tallied a season-high four RBI on two home runs in a victory over Southeast Missouri State (5/4)… Posted a .929 fielding percentage and turned nine double plays.

As a freshman (2024) at Pittsburgh:
Made her collegiate debut as a pinch runner against Memphis (2/9)… Primarily served as a pinch runner and led the Panthers with 13 stolen bases… Stole a season-high three bases against Memphis (2/10)… Recorded her first collegiate hit against ETSU (2/17), finishing 1-for-1 with a walk and two runs scored.

HIGH SCHOOL:
Attended Luella High School in Locust Grove, Georgia… Finished her prep career with a .680 batting average, 71 hits, 17 home runs, and a .684 on-base percentage… Hit .684 with 33 stolen bases and seven home runs as a senior… Earned All-Region honors in 2019… Named Region 5-AAAAA Player of the Year in both 2020 and 2022… Earned Offensive Player of the Year honors in 2020 and a Golden Glove Award in 2021… Ranked No. 27 nationally by Extra Inning Softball… Also competed in basketball, flag football, and track & field.

CLUB:
Played for Tennessee Mojo, which was ranked No. 4 nationally by Extra Inning Softball.

PERSONAL:
Daughter of Shirmika Brown… Has two brothers, Jonathan Brown and Christopher Battle Jr.… Won first place in the Georgia Lions District 18-L Peace Poster Contest… Majoring in Public Health.
