Julie Martin-Sebby joined Tennessee State University Sports Medicine Team in October 2022, after serving as an Athletic Trainer for a local orthopedic clinic for the past two years.

Martin-Sebby previously spent five years as an associate athletic trainer at Mississippi State University where she worked with women’s basketball (2017-2020), volleyball (2015-2017), and oversaw the Athletic Training fellows. Prior to Mississippi State, Martin-Sebby served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at the University of Arkansas with women’s tennis and spirit squads as well as assisting with the Arkansas basketball programs.

Martin-Sebby graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing/Management from Lipscomb University where she was a four-year letterwinner in women’s basketball. In 2013 she graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training. Julie completed her Master of Education degree from the University of Arkansas in 2015.
