DuJuan Sharp joined the Tennessee State University sports performance staff in July 2024 and serves as an Assistant Sports Performance Coach, working closely with student-athletes to enhance strength, conditioning, performance development, and injury prevention across multiple programs.
Sharp arrived at Tennessee State following a stint as Director of Strength and Conditioning at Albany State University, where he oversaw performance programming for multiple varsity teams while implementing sport-specific training plans focused on speed, power, and overall athletic development.
In 2024, Sharp was selected as a Strength and Conditioning Fellow with the Los Angeles Rams, gaining NFL-level experience in performance preparation, athlete monitoring, and professional training environments.
Prior to Albany State, Sharp spent over two years as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at Ensworth School in Nashville, following his role as Director of Strength and Conditioning for football at Father Ryan High School. Throughout his career, he has trained athletes ranging from youth and high school competitors to collegiate and professional levels, including work as a sports performance coach with You vs U Performance Training.
Sharp also previously served as Athletic Director at Lighthouse Christian School in Antioch, Tennessee, where he managed athletic operations while continuing to develop strength and conditioning programs.
Originally from Dayton, Ohio, Sharp earned his master’s degree from Urbana University in 2007 and completed an additional master’s degree at Georgia Southern University in 2026. He and his wife, Ti’Ana, have two sons, DuJuan III and Drayke.
