William Jackson is in his second year as an Assistant Sports Performance Coach at Tennessee State University, working with Football and Softball. Coach Jackson Brings over 6 years of combined experience from college, high school, and youth levels.
Coach Jackson is responsible for designing and implementing strength and conditioning programs for the Softball team. He also creates the curriculum and oversees the strength and conditioning internship program.
Prior to working at Tennessee State University, Jackson served as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at Robert Morris University as an assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach. During his time at Robert Morris, he was responsible for designing and implementing strength and conditioning programs for softball, men’s & women’s Soccer, and assisted with other sports like Football, men’s and women’s Lax, Men’s basketball, and cheerleading. He also assisted with the internship curriculum and helped managed the nutrition area.
Coach Jackson also has stops at Howard Payne University where he was the first-ever graduate assistant. He was responsible for designing and implementing annual training programs for Men’s Basketball, Softball, Men’s and Women’s Tennis, Men’s and Women’s Golf, and Men’s Soccer. He assisted with all other sports Football, baseball, Women’s Basketball, Volleyball, and Women’s Soccer.
Jackson also served as an Apprentice at Robert Morris, intern at Fairmont State University, University High School (WV), Sports 1 Elite Performance
Jackson received his B.S. degree from Almost Heaven West Virginia University in December 2017.
