Tennessee State football sported four former Tigers in the National Football League in 2020. All four were active at some point during the season, including three during the final week of the season. Terrell Bonds was the lone Tiger not on an active roster entering the post season as he remains on the Baltimore Ravens Injured Reserve list after suffering an injury during a Week 10 game at New England.

Anthony Levine recorded one tackle playing primarily on special teams in the Ravens first round win against the Tennessee Titans in Nissan Stadium.

Lachavious Simmons traveled to New Orleans with the Chicago Bears, but was rendered inactive against the Saints.

Chris Rowland's season came to an end as the Atlanta Falcons missed the playoffs.

In 2020, NFL teams can protect four players per week from their practice squads to prevent them from being claimed and signed by other teams.
