NASHVILLE --- The Tennessee State University women's basketball team dropped an 84-50 decision to Southeast Missouri Saturday afternoon in the Show Me Center.
In the first action since Dec. 10, offensive struggles hampered the Lady Tigers' efforts to get in the win column.

Andreana Wrister and
Breannah McCullah led TSU with 11 points each while
Jaden Wrightsell had a team-best seven rebounds and nine points to go with four assists and four steals.
TSU shot 34.8 percent from the field and 35.3 percent from three-point range.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- London Fair knocked down a three-pointer to get TSU on the board and tied the game 3-3.
- SEMO moved ahead, 5-2, but the offense was stagnant for both teams over the next several possessions
- TSU took the lead, 6-5, when Andreana Wrister connected from downtown but SEMO answered with back-to-back triples to go up, 11-6.
- With the first quarter coming to an end, Breannah McCullah sank a three-pointer at the buzzer to make the score, 11-9, in favor of the Redhawks.
- In the second period, TSU turnovers and a scoring run led to the Redhawks jumping out to a 19-9 lead.
- The opponents stretched the advantage to 21-9 before Kennedy Davis ended a five and half minute scoring drought with a bucket in the paint.
- The Lady Tiger offense continued to struggle and SEMO went on to outscore TSU, 26-6, in the second quarter.
- Despite being down by 26 points, the Lady Tigers came out with a renewed fight in the third frame.
- TSU outscored SEMO 18-17 in the stanza.
- In the opening moments of the fourth quarter, the momentum shifted back to SEMO.
- TSU put together a spurt late in the period, but it was not enough to overcome the deficit.
