In a competitive and hard-fought game that wasn't indicative of the final score, TSU fell to EIU, 73-55, in the Gentry Center. In what was, TSU's best start to a game of the season the Lady Tigers saw the game slip away in the fourth quarter. The game featured six ties and six lead changes but the Lady Tigers were outscored 25-10 in the final period.

ABOUT THE OPPONENT
Murray State (7-8, 4-6 OVC) is coming off a 74-71 loss to Austin Peay on Monday. The Racers have dropped two straight. MSU was picked to finish 8th in the OVC standings and has the reigning Freshman of the Week, Katelyn Young, on its team.Â

LAST TIME THEY MET
Five players scored in double-digits as TSU picked up an impressive, 96-81, win over Murray State in the Gentry Center. The win snapped a 12-game losing skid and earned TSU its first league win of the season. The game was a tightly contested battle that saw several lead changes in the first half. Towards the end of the second quarter, TSU used three straight steals and scores to capture a six point lead at the break. In the third quarter, the Lady Tigers were clicking on all cylinders. They used a 13-3 run to grab a 58-41 advantage and never relinquished the lead.
Jaden Wrightsell led TSU with a double-double of 29 points and 12 rebounds to go with six steals and three assists.

SERIES INFORMATION
TSU will match-up with Murray State for the 62nd time in the series history with the Racers leading, 35-26. The teams split last season with each squad winning on its home court. In the last meeting, the Lady Tigers claimed a 96-81 win over the Racers in Gentry Center.
