Murray, Ky. --- The Tennessee State University women's basketball team fell to Murray State, 77-58, Thursday night in the CFSB Center.

TSU got off to a slow start and struggled offensively for most of the night. The struggles saw the Lady Tigers fall behind by double-digits in the first quarter and TSU played from behind the rest of the game.

Tennessee State used a spurt to cut the deficit down to six points in the first half but that would be as close as the team could get.

Andreana Wrister led TSU with 15 points in the contest. London Fairs scored a season-high 12 points while Breannah McCullah registered a career-high 12 points and a game-high seven rebounds. Jaden Wrightsell also scored in double-digits with 11 points.
