Tennessee State is beginning a stretch of 10 games in 10 days. The string begins with an Ohio Valley Conference doubleheader with Belmont on Wednesday at Tiger field. TSU will then take to the road for the next five games, including a three game OVC series at Murray State over the weekend. A non-conference twin bill at Alabama A&M comes seven days into the 10-game stretch before the Big Blue returns home to face Morehead State for three games.

Bri Vire boasted a .556 batting average at UT Martin going 5-for-9. The performance boosted her season average to .333, which trails only Anayah Baker-Rowell. The freshman has amassed 19 hits in 52 at bats and is hitting at a .365 clip. Baker-Rowell hit her first two career home runs at UTM to add to her impressive collegiate debut where she has three doubles, two triples, 10 runs scored and seven RBI.

Raven Loveless struck out three batters in her last outing which gives her 116 in her career. The total ties Justine Jontz (2003-04) for 10th in the TSU record books. Loveless is 2-6 on the year and has a 2.33 ERA with 29 strikeouts in 54 innings pitched.
