TSU is coming into the three-game conference series after one of its strongest performances of the season. The Tigers dropped both games of a double header to No. 16 Tennessee. The Lady Vols took game one 3-2 before completing the sweep with a 3-0 decision.

The pitching staff scattered 12 hits over two games to UT who entered the contest batting .336 as a team and averaging 6.5 runs per game. The outing is right after the Tiger pitching corpse was touched for 48 hits and 38 runs over the first five games of the current 12 game road trip. TSU looks to continue its recent success in the circle as the travel to face Austin Peay who is hitting .295 as a team and scoring 5.2 runs per game.

Francys King continues to lead the staff with a 2.64 ERA, holding teams to a .239 batting average, and is followed by Raven Loveless with a 2.91 ERA.

For the first seven games of the road trip, Kayli Mothershed is 5-of-16 with three walks for a .313 average and a .421 on base percentage. The sophomore catcher has two doubles and a home run. Freshman Anayah Baker-Rowell continues her impressive debut hitting .300 with two walks during the stretch to remain the top Tiger at .327 with five doubles, three triples and two home runs.
