Gia Adams set a season-best with 33 points but a slow first and fourth quarters led to an 86-76 loss to SIUE on Thursday evening at the Gentry Center.
TSU led 37-35 at the half after a stellar second quarter in which they outscored SIUE 31-14.
SIUE regained its lead in the fourth with 4:12 left on a jumper by Mikayla Kinnard.
Elise Harden finished with 13 points and
Alexis Pierce had 10 points.
TSU will conclude the home schedule on Saturday against EIU at noon.
