NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee State women's cross-country competed in the Belmont Opener this past Friday to start kick off their 2022 campaign. The Tigers finished in eighth place out of eight teams.
The 5K race was ran at Percy Warren Park in Nashville, and it was hosted by Belmont University. Vanderbilt took home first place, followed by Belmont in second, and Murray State in third.
Ajmone Myers was the top Tiger runner, as she clocked a 22:55.08 to finish in 47
th place.
Natalya Bryant took finished two spots behind Myers in 49
th after finishing with a time of 23:49.79.
