NASHVILLE — Matching their best start since the 2016 season, the Tennessee State football has its sights set on its first winning season since 2017, as one more victory would secure a winning record for the Tigers. TSU will look to take down new FCS member Lindenwood on Saturday afternoon as the Tigers will play four straight Big South-OVC contests to close the regular season.

Deveon Bryant chipped in 69 yards.

FOUR FOR FOUR: Redshirt freshman running back
Jordan Gant had a career day against Lincoln this past Saturday. The Florida native finished with four rushing scores on 12 attempts for 83 yards with three of his touchdowns coming in the first half of play. Gant's four-rushing touchdown game against LU is tied for the second-most in TSU single-game history.
MAN ON A MISSION: After finishing with seven tackles and four TFLs against Norfolk, defensive lineman
Terrell Allen continued his recent tear against Lincoln. The big man had seven tackles, four TFLs, four sacks, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery, and two QB hurries. Allen's four-sack game marked his second consecutive multi-sack contest. He is currently second in the FCS in both sacks (9.0) and TFLs (14.0).
GETTING EVEN: With a 14-15 career record as the head coach at TSU through three years,
Eddie George will have the chance to even out his record on Saturday as the Tigers play host to Lindenwood. George came into the year with a 9-13 career record and has reeled off five wins to push his record close to even. He is currently tied with Lawrence Simmons with 14 wins and will look to slide into 11
th place in TSU coaching history with one more victory.
MAJOR COME UP: A three-star wide receiver out of Overton High School, true freshman
Delanie Majors has shown why he had multiple FBS offers coming out of high school. Majors has been a Major piece of TSU's offensive attack as the freshman is fifth on the team with nine receptions and sixth with 96 yards. The true freshman scored his first career TD in the win against Lincoln this past Saturday. He has played in all seven games with four starts this year.
