WEEK 11 BY THE NUMBERS:

6: The TSU defense has intercepted a pass in six consecutive games. Monroe Beard III kept the streak alive with an interception against Charleston Southern after Josh Green started it in the fourth game against UT Martin (9/30). Josh Green (2), Jeremiah Josephs (2), Beard III, Tyler Jones, and Bryce Phillips have all contributed interceptions during the streak.

10: Jordan Gant has scored ten rushing touchdowns this season. Gant became the first TSU back to reach double-digit rushing touchdowns since Trabis Ward rushed for 15 scores in 2012. Gant, a Florida native like Ward, leads the team with 490 yards on the ground on 117 attempts. His ten rushing scores are tied for the Big South-OVC lead.

72: Draylen Ellis needs only 72 more passing yards to reach 1,000 yards passing for the season. The fourth-year QB has thrown for 1,000+ yards in three straight seasons and aims to make it four with this milestone. He threw for 1,269 as a freshman and 2,625 as a sophomore at APSU, followed by 1,811 last year in his first season as a Tiger. Ellis has accumulated 6,633 career passing yards.

11: Dayron Johnson made 11 receptions against Charleston Southern. This marks a new career high for the fifth-year Tiger, and it's the first time TSU has had a wide receiver catch double-digit passes in a game since Chris Rowland had 14 grabs against Murray State in 2019. Johnson currently leads the team with 33 receptions, a career high.

ANOTHER BROKEN RECORD: After recording his fourth consecutive game with 4.0+ tackles for loss, Terrell Allen has once again etched his name into the TSU record books. He has broken the single-season record for tackles for loss with 24.5. Allen surpassed both Lamar Carter, who recorded 21.0 tackles for loss in 1996, and Jermaine Beale, who tallied 22.0 tackles for loss in 2001, to become the new single-season leader. Allen leads the nation in tackles for loss and sacks with 14.5. He currently ranks second on TSU's single-season sack record.

CHASING 100: Monroe Beard III is on track to become the first TSU defender to record 100 tackles in a season since Nick Thrasher logged 128 tackles in 2014. The first-year Tiger and UAPB transfer currently sits at 95 tackles with two games remaining. He is currently 12th in the nation with 95 total tackles and leads the Big South OVC, with the next closest player having 77.
