Women's Basketball Set to Host Former OVC Member Eastern Kentucky on Friday

OPENING TIP — Having last played on December 3 against Akron, the Tennessee State women's basketball team will return to the court tomorrow evening as they host Eastern Kentucky inside the Gentry Center. This marks TSU's first home game in almost a month, as they last hosted Lipscomb on November 17.

SERIES INFORMATION: This will be the 71st matchup between TSU and EKU. The Colonels hold the all-time advantage of 44-26 over the Tigers. TSU is 6-4 in the last 10 games but fell in their last two matchups in 2021 before EKU left the conference.

The grad transfer averaged 12.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 1.0 steals throughout two games against Cincinnati and Akron. Sanaa' St. Andre took home the honors the week prior after a two-game trip to Florida.
