NASHVILLE - The Tennessee State men's tennis team traveled across town to take on Belmont on Thursday afternoon as they opened up Horizon League play. The Tigers lost 7-0 to the Bruins to move to 4-11 (0-1 Horizon).
Belmont started off the match by taking the doubles point, picking up a 6-2 win at line one, and a 6-1 win at line three.

Taj Hibbert's match went unfished as they were tied 5-5.
Diego Britt-Alvarez was the only Tiger to win a set in singles play, as he lost 6-4, 2-6, 0-1 in the No. 5 spot.
Nicholas Adamec had a battle at line six, falling 4-6, 5-7.
Nil Moinet dropped his match 3-6, 4-6 in the No. 1 position, while Hibbert fell 1-6, 5-7.
TSU will be back in action on Saturday afternoon as they are set to travel to Cookeville, Tenn., to take on Tennessee Tech.
