Box Score COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee State men's tennis team traveled to Cookeville on Saturday afternoon and fell 6-1 to the Golden Eagles in their second Horizon League match of the season. The loss moves the Tigers to 4-12 (0-2 Horizon).
TTU took the doubles point after winning at lines two and three.

Daniel Caraballo played a tight match in the No. 2 spot but fell 4-6.

Nil Moinet's match went un-finished at line one, as they were down 4-5 in a close battle. TTU picked up a 6-1 at line three to take the doubles point.
In singles play, TSU was able to pick up a win at line four, as Hibbert had a convincing 7-5, 6-1 win. Despite dropping his match, Caraballo played a tight three-set match as he went down 5-7, 6-4, 7-10.
Jonasz Dziopak also saw his match go three sets in the No. 2 spot, falling 7-5, 3-6, 5-10. Copin was edged 4-6, 3-6 at line six, while Moinet lost 6-7, 1-6 in the No. 1 position.
Diego Britt-Alvarez dropped his match 2-6, 4-6 at line five.
The Tigers will have a quick turnaround, as they will head to Evansville, Ind., to take on Southern Indiana tomorrow afternoon. The first serve is set for 4:00 p.m.
