NASHVILLE – The Tennessee State men's tennis team picked up their third straight Horizon League win on Sunday afternoon, as they swept Eastern Illinois 7-0 at Hadley Park. The win moves TSU to 7-12 (3-2 Horizon).
 
TSU picked up two quick wins in the doubles portion of play to grab the early 1-0 lead heading into singles action.

Taj Hibbert rolled to a 6-4 win at line two, while 
Jonasz Dziopak / 
Nicholas Adamec earned a 6-0 sweep at line three.

Pierre Copin's match went unfished as they were tied 4-4 in the No. 1 spot.
 
The Tigers carried the momentum from doubles into the singles portion of play as they swept EIU 6-0. Dziopak held down the No. 1 spot for the Tigers, earning the 6-1, 6-2 win. 
Nil Moinet cruised to a 6-3, 6-4 win at line two, while Caraballo put his opponent away 6-1, 6-3 in the three-hole.
 
Taj Hibbert earned a three-set victory, as he won 0-6, 6-0, 6-1 at line four. 
Diego Britt-Alvarez also went three sets, earning a 6-7, 6-0, 10-4 win at line five. Adamec closed out TSU's lineup with a 6-3, 6-2 win at line six.
 
The Tigers will be back in action on Friday as they are set to head to Charleston, Ill., to face EIU once again.
