WBB Set to Return to Gentry for First Time in 2024 to Face Lindenwood

OPENING TIP — With only one game on the docket this week, the Tennessee State women's basketball team will return to the Gentry Center tomorrow afternoon for the first time in 2024 to host Lindenwood for a 1:00 PM contest.   

The Matchup: Tennessee State (4-10, 1-3 OVC) vs. Lindenwood (2-11, 0-3 OVC)

SERIES INFORMATION: This will be the second-ever meeting between TSU and Lindenwood. The Lions are in their second season as a Division One opponent after spending 10 years as an NCAA DII member. TSU won the lone matchup last season 79-74 to grab a 1-0 lead in the series.

9: The number of three-pointers that the Lady Tigers made against Morehead, setting a new season high. TSU has only finished with 5+ made threes twice this season, after hitting seven against Eastern Kentucky. Saniah Parker led the Tigers with three makes from beyond the arc in the loss.
 
27: The number of turnovers that TSU forced against Morehead. TSU's 27 forced turnovers are the second most this season and the most against a D1 opponent this year. The Lady Tigers lead the OVC with 22.9 forced turnovers per outing while ranking 10th in the NCAA.
 
Sanaa's Season Highs: Sanaa' St. Andre set two season highs against MSU in both points and steals. The senior transfer finished with 23 points and five steals. This marks the first time Andre has finished with 20+ points this season. She leads the team with 11.9 ppg.
