MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - The Tennessee State men's tennis traveled down I-24 to Murfreesboro on Saturday evening to open the spring season and came away empty-handed as they fell 7-0 to Middle Tennessee State (rv).
The Blue Raiders started the evening off hot, picking up the doubles point with two straight victories.

Taj Hibbert was the only Tiger to win a set in singles play, as he fell 3-6, 6-3, 3-6 in the No. 3 slot. Britt-Alvarez put up a fight in the No. 5 spot as he was downed 6-7, 6-7. Caraballo dropped his match in the No. 2 position 3-6, 6-7. Freshman

TSU will continue its tough non-conference slate with a trip across town to Vanderbilt on Wednesday evening.Â
