NASHVILLE – The Tennessee State men's tennis team continued its season last week with four matches against three different Southeastern Conference opponents.
The Tigers started the four-match trip in Nashville against Vanderbilt, followed by a trip to Mississippi to take on Mississippi State and Ole Miss. TSU finished 0-4 on the week.

Diego Britt-Alvarez fell 6-4 at No. 2.

Rohan Loubser's match went unfinished as they were down 5-3.
Hibbert picked up the Tigers' only point of the week, winning in the No. 3 singles 7-5, 6-4.
Nil Moinet 7-6, 2-6, 1-6, Britt-Alvarez 1-6, 7-5, 1-6, and Bogelin 6-4, 3-6, 0-1 all went three sets in their perspective single matches.
MSU 7, TSU 0
Taking on the No. 17 team in the country, the Tigers fell to the Bulldogs as Jonsasz Dziopak was the only player to win a set. He fell 6-0, 5-7, 0-1 in a competitive match in the No. 2 singles slot.
Daniel Caraballo dropped his singles match 4-6, 4-6 in the first spot, while Nil Mointel fell 1-6, 6-7.
Ole Miss 7, TSU 0
The Tigers closed their weekend with a doubleheader on Sunday against Ole Miss. TSU competed well in doubles play despite not earning a win. Britt Alvarez / Bogelin fell 4-6 at in the No. 2 spot, while Hibbert / Loubser fell 4-6 at No. 3 Dziopak / Caraballo's match went unfished as they were down 3-5.
Ole Miss 4, TSU 0
TSU fell in its final match 4-0 to the Rebels. Loubser's match went unfinished as he was up in the third set 2-6, 6-4, 3-2. Dziopak also saw his match go unfinished as he was down 3-6, 4-5.
The Tigers will be back in action on Friday as they are set to play Lipscomb at the Richland Country Club.
