Women's Basketball Host Morehead State in Kids Day Matchup at Gentry

NASHVILLE – Tennessee State women's basketball returns home Thursday as the Lady Tigers host Ohio Valley Conference opponent Morehead State inside the Gentry Center. Tipoff is set for 5 p.m. as TSU looks to build on recent growth and energy following a demanding four-game road stretch.

The Lady Tigers enter the matchup focused on continued development on both ends of the floor, emphasizing rebounding, defensive pressure, and balanced contributions as conference play continues.

LAST TIME OUT

Tennessee State competed on the road at Eastern Illinois on Saturday, showing resilience throughout the contest. The Lady Tigers held the Panthers to just 38.1 percent shooting from the field while forcing 15 turnovers and generating 28 points from the bench.

Aaniya Webb led TSU with 11 points, nine rebounds, and two steals, continuing to provide production on both ends of the floor. Kiki Roberts added seven points and nine rebounds off the bench, while Genesis Harris chipped in eight points, helping fuel TSU's bench scoring.
