Women's Basketball Returns to Gentry to Face Tennessee Tech

NASHVILLE - Tennessee State women's basketball returns to the Gentry Center on Monday, Feb. 2, as the Lady Tigers host Tennessee Tech in Ohio Valley Conference action. Tip-off is set for 5 p.m. in Nashville.

Tennessee State enters the matchup continuing to build through conference play, emphasizing rebounding, defensive pressure, and balanced contributions across the lineup as the Lady Tigers look to defend home court.

LAST TIME OUT
Tennessee State battled to the final buzzer Thursday night, falling 60–54 to Little Rock after leading 28–22 at halftime.

Xai Whitfield led the Lady Tigers with 15 points and five assists, while Somah Kamara provided a spark off the bench with 13 points and three steals. Erin Martin anchored the paint with seven rebounds and four blocks, and Brianna Wooldridge pulled down a team-high 11 boards as TSU won the rebounding battle, 50–45.
