NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee State Tigers softball team continues Ohio Valley Conference play this weekend, hosting the UT Martin Skyhawks for a three-game series at Tiger Field.
The series opens with a doubleheader on Saturday, March 21, at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., followed by the finale on Sunday, March 22, at 1 p.m.
LAST TIME OUT
Tennessee State returns home after a midweek matchup against the Chattanooga Mocs softball. The Tigers fell 9-3 despite showing resilience late in the contest.
After falling behind early, TSU broke through in the fifth inning with three runs to cut into the deficit. The Tigers continued to battle at the plate, but Chattanooga responded to hold on for the win.
TSU will look to carry that offensive spark into the weekend as it returns to conference play.
