CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – The Tennessee State softball team travels to Missouri this weekend to continue Ohio Valley Conference play with a three-game series against Southeast Missouri.

The series will begin with a doubleheader on Saturday, March 28, with first pitch scheduled for 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. The Tigers will wrap up the weekend on Sunday, March 29, with a single game at 1 p.m.

Tennessee State enters the weekend looking to build on recent performances, including a midweek matchup against Lipscomb at Tiger Field. Jasmine Blackburn led the Tigers offensively in that contest with a 2-for-3 outing and two RBI, highlighted by a two-RBI triple. Dani James and Tianna Salcido each added hits and runs scored, while Kyra Taylor contributed a double as TSU totaled five hits.

In the circle, Miriam Gordon, Tianna Salcido, and Kristian Holder combined to handle pitching duties against the Bisons. The Tigers will look for continued production from their pitching staff as they face a conference opponent this weekend.

With Ohio Valley Conference play underway, Tennessee State will aim to put together a complete performance on both sides of the ball as they take on Southeast Missouri in a three-game set.

First pitch times are set for 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, followed by a 1 p.m. start on Sunday.
