NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Belmont Bruins won the battle of Nashville as Tennessee State women's tennis was swept 7-0 in OVC action Thursday afternoon.
London Thomas won the only two games for TSU (0-5, 0-2 OVC) in singles play as she lost in straight sets 6-0, 6-2 against Nikki Naciel at #2 Singles.
Thomas and Kryston Mason won a game off of Catherine Holliday and Natalia Nunes of the Bruins (5-5, 1-1 OVC) at #2 Doubles before dropping an 8-1 decision.
The Lady Tigers will head to Kentucky to take on Morehead State on Saturday and Eastern Kentucky on Sunday.
