NASHVILLE — The Tennessee State Lady Tigers women's basketball team hits the road for a quick visit with Western Kentucky on Sunday afternoon.

SERIES INFORMATION: This will be the fifth all-time meeting between TSU and Western Kentucky on Sunday. The Hilltoppers lead the season series 3-1 with these two teams having not played since Jan. 6, 1989. The first meeting on Nov. 30, 1981, went to Western Kentucky, an 83-61 victory. TSU's lone win came on Feb. 8, 1982, a 92-59 win.
UP NEXT: TSU will face Omaha for the first-time in program history when they travel to face the Mavericks on Thursday afternoon.
NATIONALLY RANKED D: In his second season at the helm, Ty Evans has his Lady Tigers siting near the top of the NCAA leaderboard in steals, steals per game and forced turnovers. As of Nov. 26, the Lady Tigers are second in steals per game (17.2), third in total steals (86) and seventh in forced turnovers per game with 26.0.
HARDEN'S HAPPY HOUR: Elise Harden finished with 21 points on 9-of 11 from the field with eight rebounds against North Alabama. Harden also finished with one block and one steal in 17 minutes of action.
DOMINIQUE'S DOMINANCE: Dominique Claytor finished with a 15-point, 11-rebound double-double against the Lions in 29 minutes. Claytor was the only starter not to commit more than one foul.
WESTBROOK'S BATTLE: Kianni Westbrook had 10 rebounds and seven points in just 10 minutes of play at North Alabama.
SPEED WINS: Tennessee State finished with a season-best 28 fast break points against the Lions and 15 second chance points. Inside the paint, TSU scored 44 of its 83 points as the team from inside the paint as the exploited the lack of size from their opponent.
