UP NEXT: Next Wednesday's road contest at Lipscomb will be the 28th all-time meeting between Nashville neighbors. The Lady Tigers hold a 22-5 series lead over the Bison. Last season's contest was canceled due to COVID, but the Bison took the previous contest during the 2019-20 season.

PIERCE'ING EFFECT: Alexis Pierce returned to double figures with 15 points, seven rebounds and six assists in the overtime loss to Mercer. In 37 minutes, Pierce shot 6-of-14 from the field.
ENERGIZER BUNNY: Gia Adams has been a real spark for the Lady Tigers this season and dropped 15 points with four assists.
NEAR COMEBACK: After trailing by as many as 22, the Lady Tigers fought back in the second half and even took a small lead before the Bears forced overtime and won in the extra frame. This was the largest comeback this season and during the Ty Evans era.
