BRENTWOOD, Tenn. --- Sophomore point guard Mark Freeman was named to the All-Ohio Valley Conference's Second Team as announced by the league office Tuesday afternoon. 

The Memphis native led the Tigers at the point, averaging 17.1 points, 4.6 assists, 4.1 rebounds and 2.0 steals per game, shooting a league-best 81.7 percent from the charity stripe and led the team in double doubles. Freeman started every game played and led the team in scoring nine times, assists 17 and rebounding three.

Freeman ranks first in the leage in free throw percentage, third in scoring, steals and minutes played (35.1 mpg), fifth in assists, 15^th in three-point field goals made (1.5 per game) and 15^th in assist/turnover ratio (1.2). He was named Player of the Week once during the season.

Current teammate Carlos Marshall, Jr. was the last Tiger to garner Second Team honors.
