LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Tennessee State Men's Cross Country's Robert Hooper broke the school record in the 8K on Saturday morning and earned a top 50 finish as they competed in the Louisville Cross Country Classic. Hooper logged a 26:27.5 to break the old record of 26:46 that was set by Quamel Prince and came in 44^th out of 412 runners.   
 
The Tigers finished 35^th of 45 teams. Thaddee Barge finished in the top 100 as he ran a 27:03.4 to finish in 84^th place.
 
TSU will run again on Friday, October 14, as they are set to compete in the Blazer Classic in Montevallo, Ala.
