SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee State men's golf team shot a 309 in their first round of the spring season on Sunday afternoon to finish in 14
th of 14 after day one of the 54-hole Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate.
TSU had three players shoot in the 70's, led by
Carter Walton (74) who is currently tied for 38
th after the first round.
Sebert Walker finished one stroke back with a 75 and is tied for 48
th.
Jeremiah Gardenhire also found himself in the 70's with a 79, which has him tied for 74
th.
Isaac Napier shot an 81 to finish tied for 80
th, while
Allen Stokes sits two strokes back with an 83 which ties him for 86
th.
TSU will continue the three-day event with 18 more holes tomorrow.
