SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee State men's golf team finished their first tournament of the spring season on Tuesday afternoon, as they finished in 14
th of 14 in the 54-hole Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate. The Tigers finished with a 960 (309, 329, 322) for their three-day score.
TSU was led by
Sebert Walker who finished tied for 62
nd with a 234 (75, 77, 82).
Carter Walton finished two places back and one stroke of Walker, as he finished tied for 6
4th with a three-day score of 235 (74, 78, 83).
Isaac Napier showed a lot of improvement on day three, finishing with a 74, which gave him a 244 (81, 89, 74) and landed him tied for 76
th place.
Jeremiah Gardenhire totaled a 250 (79, 85, 85) to finish in 82
nd.
Allen Stokes came in 84
th place with a 254 (83, 88, 83) to round out the Tiger lineup.
The men will be back in action on March 27-28, when they head to Greensboro, N.C., to play part in the Aggie Invitational.
