BROWNS SUMMIT, N.C. – The Tennessee State men's golf team wrapped up their second tournament of the spring season on Tuesday afternoon as they had their best round of the 54-hole event. TSU fired a 317 in their final round to finish with a 959 (322, 320, 317) to finish in eighth place out of nine teams.
Sebert Walker earned a top-10 finish as he finished tied for 8
th place out of 50 players. Walker had rounds of 72, 74, and 77 to tally a 223 for his three-round total. Walker's 72 in round one was TSU's best individual score of the event.
Allen Stokes finished tied for 35
th place after firing a 241 (72, 82, 81).
Isaac Napier finished 10 spots back, tied for 45
th place with a 255 (87, 85, 83).
Jeremiah Gardenhire tallied a 259 to finish in 48
th place (85, 84, 90).
Carter Walton had TSU's second-best round of the afternoon as he finished with a 76, to bring his two-day score to 156 (W, 80, 76).
The Tigers will have a few weeks off before they are set for their next outing. TSU will be back in action on April 10-11
th as they host the Big Blue Intercollegiate at the Hermitage Golf Course.
