NASHVILLE – The Tennessee State men's golf team wrapped up the Big Blue Intercollegiate on Tuesday afternoon as they finished with their second 297 of the event. The Tigers finished with a three-round total of 894 (297, 300, 297) and came in 15
th place.
Sebert Walker fired a 72 this afternoon, which was the best TSU single-round score of the event, to finish tied for 57
th with a 220 (74, 74, 72).
Jared Southerland (73, 75, 74) and
Carter Walton (74, 73, 75) both tallied a 222 to finish tied for 66
th.
Allen Stokes (86
th place) finished with his best round of the event on Tuesday afternoon as he shot a 76 to finish with a.
Isaac Napier finished two spots back in 88
th place with a 234 (76, 80, 78). Competing as an individual,
Jeremiah Gardenhire rounded out TSU's lineup as he came in 89
th place with a 237 (82, 77, 78).
The Tigers will be back in action April 23-26 as they head to Cape Girardeau, Mo., to compete in the Ohio Valley Conference Championships.
