Box Score NASHVILLE – The Tennessee State women's tennis team closed out their regular season with back-to-back Ohio Valley Conference shutouts, as they took down Southern Indiana 7-0 on Saturday afternoon.
TSU finishes its spring regular season 5-18 (2-3 OVC). The Tigers' fourth-place finish in the OVC is a program high.
The Tigers had a hot start in the doubles portion of play as they quickly won at lines two and three to take the point.

Jovana Nikolic won 6-1 at line two, while

Aroa Arrieta Castillo made quick work at line three, winning 6-2.
In singles play,
Warona Mdlulwa won 7-6, 6-4 in the No. 1 spot, while
Naomi Von Bose claimed a 3-6, 6-3, 10-6 win at line two.
Koleva earned a 6-0, 6-0 sweep in the three spot, followed by Sindicic who earned a 6-2, 6-1 win at line four. Arrieta Castillo won 6-3, 6-3 in the No. 5 position, while Nikolic rounded out the TSU lineup with a 6-0, 6-2 win at line six.
TSU will be back in action on Friday, April 21 in the first round of the OVC tournament. The Tigers will take on Lindenwood in their first-round matchup at 10:00 a.m.
