Box Score SAINT CHARLES, Mo. – The Tennessee State women's tennis team won their first Ohio Valley Conference match in five years on Saturday afternoon as they defeated Lindenwood 7-0.
The win moves TSU to 4-18 (1-3 OVC) this spring. The Tigers' last OVC win prior to today was on March 30, 2018, when they defeated SIUE 4-3.
TSU started off the match by taking the doubles point to lead 1-0 early on.

Franka Sindicic won in a tight 7-5 battle at line two, while
Daniela Koleva /
Aroa Arrieta Castillo earned a 6-0 sweep at line three to give TSU the doubles point.
The Tigers had no problems in the singles portion of the match as they would earn victories at all six lines, with only one match going three sets.
Warona Mdlulwa earned a 6-1, 7-6 win at line one, followed by
Naomi Von Bose who earned a 6-2 6-3 win at line two.
Koleva won 6-3, 6-3 in the No. 3 spot, while Sindicic went three sets at line four, winning 6-3, 2-6, 11-9. Castillo picked up the 6-2, 6-1 victory at line five, while Nikolic's 6-1, 6-0 win in the No. 6 position rounds out TSU's lineup.
The Tigers will be back in action next Saturday as they are set to host Southern Indiana in their final match of the regular season.
