NASHVILLE – After having a successful end to their 2023 spring season which saw them win their first-ever Ohio Valley Championship Tournament match, the Tennessee State women's tennis team has more to celebrate as the league announced that they have earned 2022-23 OVC Team Sportsmanship Award.

The award is voted on by the league's head coaches and represents the team that has best exhibited the standards of sportsmanship and ethical behavior as outlined by the OVC and NCAA.
